Privacy Policy — Valtrixon Resume Tailor
Valtrixon Resume Tailor ("the extension") helps you tailor your resume to a job posting. This policy explains what information the extension handles, why, and who receives it.
Who runs the service
The extension is managed by your organization. It connects to a Valtrixon server at tailor-server.valtrixon.com, which stores your base resume and generates tailored versions. Your administrator sets up your access.
Information we handle
- Job posting content: the text you select (or paste) and choose to tailor, plus the address and title of that page.
- Resume content: the base resume your administrator assigns to you, and the tailored resumes generated for you.
- Account and authentication details: your username and password when you sign in, and a session token stored in the extension.
- Access request details: the name and message you enter if you request access.
- Technical information: your IP address, which the server uses to check that your access is approved.
The extension does not read pages on its own. It reads the text you have selected only when you start the tailor action.
How we use it
- To generate a resume tailored to the job posting you chose.
- To keep a history of your tailored resumes so you can view, copy and download them.
- To sign you in, approve access and keep the service secure.
We use this information only for the extension's purpose. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to decide creditworthiness or lending.
Who receives it
- Valtrixon servers: your selected job text, resume and account details are sent over HTTPS to the Valtrixon server and stored in its database.
- AI provider: to produce the tailored resume, the job text and your resume text are sent to a third-party AI service (DeepSeek) for processing.
We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.
Storage on your device
The extension stores your tailored resume history, session token and preferences (such as dark mode and notifications) in your browser's local extension storage. Signing out removes the session token. Uninstalling the extension removes the local data.
Retention and deletion
Your tailored resumes and history stay on the Valtrixon server until they are deleted. You can delete items in the extension, and you can ask your administrator to delete your account and data.
Security
Data between the extension and the server is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Access to the server is restricted to approved users.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
